Fashion: Promoting SoHo Style
Delving into the exciting world of fashion, The New York Group formed an affiliation with Versani, a bold and edgy eclectic jewelry line based in Manhattan’s trendy SoHo neighborhood. To match the personality exuded by this brand, The New York Group has worked closely with Versani to create a promotional event. The two-part evening begins at the Versani flagship location on Mercer and continues to an exciting after party for event guests in Chelsea. The partnership of Versani and The New York Group acquired sponsorship for the event from Marc Jacobs in SoHo, Dop Dop Salon and up and coming fashion designer, KahriAnne Kerr.
Aesthetics: Beautiful Skin For Life
To promote the grand opening of VITA Ageless Medical Aesthetics, a reception event was held November 17 at the client’s brand new modern spa, located in Roslyn. VITA sought out the expertise of The New York Group in early October in an effort to spread the word about their brand, develop a marketing campaign and get acquainted with the community where they would soon be doing business. The team at The New York Group created new collateral materials, organized several promotional events, redesigned the website and is currently working on projects that will assist VITA to expand into new markets.
Building Successful Business Relationships for a Better Community
To help generate funds and increase community awareness for the Port Washington Public Library, The New York Group connected the institution with their client, Rallye BMW. The connection yielded much needed publicity for the Port Washington Library Foundation’s 2nd Inspiration Gala: A Celebration of Progress and Ideas, as Rallye BMW agreed to sponsor the fundraising event. Held on Saturday, October 1, 2005 at the Port Washington Yacht Club, the event was designed to bring together active residents of Long Island to celebrate noted accomplishments in corporate and community leadership while generating funds for the institution’s changing scope of educational programming and technological needs. To help raise additional funds, Rallye donated a two-year lease to a brand new 2006 BMW X3 as a prize for the evening’s raffle. The New York Group, Inc. officially named agency of record for the Nassau County Museum of Art
The New York Group has recently been named the agency of record for The Nassau County Museum of Art. Since the initial creation of their affiliation in January 2005, The New York Group, Inc. has worked closely with the Nassau County Museum of Art on several projects aimed at increasing sources of fundraising, generating a greater awareness for the Museum and supporting its mission to become the best suburban fine arts museum in the country. Through the development of a partnership between the museum and Rallye Auto Group, the New York Group has effectively created a solid system of support that has given the museum the ability to reach new members of the community. By linking these two clients with common causes, The New York Group has built a relationship between a successful business and a cultural icon that will bring many benefits to both clients and the surrounding community.
Rallye Group President and CEO, Mrs. Juliana Curran Terian Proudly Announces The Peter Terian Fine Arts Scholarship
The Peter Terian Fine Arts Scholarship was created by Mrs. Juliana Curran Terian, President and CEO of Rallye Auto Group, to support the development and creative individuality of college-bound students in pursuit of degrees in selected fine arts fields. Mrs. Terian has proudly established this scholarship in honor of her late husband Peter, the founder of Rallye Auto Group. By establishing this scholarship, Mrs. Terian hopes to encourage students in their artistic endeavors, instilling in them the importance of original vision, creative diversity and their continued attention to the culture of their world. The New York Group is working closely with Rallye and Mrs. Terian on developing the scholarship details and creating programs to promote the scholarship to students throughout Nassau County.

The Rallye Group celebrated its 47th Anniversary with remarkable success. The New York Group, Inc. and Rallye executive management developed a two-week comprehensive media promotion of print, radio and direct mail advertisements to help Rallye have their most successful “Anniversary Sales Event” in the company’s outstanding history. The Rallye Group has a well-respected reputation in the Long Island community and has provided world-class luxury sales and service throughout the Tri-State area for 47 years. With the help of The New York Group, Inc., Rallye dealerships set an all-time sale records with a tremendous response from the Anniversary Sales Event promotion. The Rallye Group was delighted with the results of the advertising campaign and continues to work with The New York Group, Inc. on many projects.
Re-branding Long Island Plastic Surgical Group with New York style
The New York Group, Inc. has taken the largest plastic surgical practice in the country and has retooled their brand. In an effort to help Long Island Plastic Surgical Group modernize plastic surgery, The New York Group, Inc. has created an updated look for the practice’s logo. From business cards and letterheads to web site design and practice brochures, the new look will give Long Island Plastic Surgical Group a clean, progressive image, while building on its outstanding reputation. Simple and consistent, the new logo is an abstract interpretation of an artist’s brush. The four parts of the logo represent the virtues of their practice: top surgical expertise, largest practice in the nation, an inclusive approach to beauty and a commitment to education.
The New York Group, Inc. helps to raise $20,000 with Casino Night Fundraiser for Nassau County Museum of Art
To kickoff the fundraising season for the Nassau County Museum of Art, The New York Group, Inc. created and organized a Casino Night on Thursday, March 17 at Rallye Motors’ Mercedes-Benz showroom in Roslyn. Throughout the night, a donated prizes from local businesses were raffled off to guests including a dinner for two every month for a year at Trattoria Diane, a Fendi handbag (Americana Manhasset) valued at $2,000 and an authentic slot machine. To accommodate over 200 guests, a variety of exciting games were made available including roulette, slot machines and blackjack. The night even featured a tournament of the hottest game around, Texas Hold’em poker, with a plasma-screen television awarded to the tournament winner. Over $20,000 was raised and donated to the museum’s exhibitions and children’s educational programs. A representative from the Museum said, “Casino Night was a new, exciting venture for the museum – one which brought many new friends and was a wonderful vehicle to help celebrate the Museum Ball.”
The New York Group, Inc. sets the stage as Rallye Lexus becomes the first Dealership in New York to Unveil the Next Automotive Phenomenon
On Thursday, February 17, The New York Group, Inc. assisted Rallye Lexus in successfully welcoming over 200 guests at the spectacular unveiling of the all-new 2006 Lexus GS. With a total of three GS vehicles in the showroom, Rallye customers were able to view a variety of exterior and interior combinations. This evening's guests also had the opportunity to meet with Rallye sales personnel for an in-depth view of the new GS. The catered event, developed and organized by The New York Group, Inc. featured a live DJ, professional stage lighting and red velvet carpeting marking the entrances where, inside, Rallye customers became the first in New York to experience the all-new GS.
Forming Alliances for a Better Community: The New York Group, Inc. creates an affiliation with Nassau County Museum of Art
In May of 1989 the Nassau County Museum of Art became an independent non-profit institution dedicated to providing Long Island with important exhibitions of internationally acclaimed artists and fostering exhibitions of local artists. The museum advocates art education for all ages with educational programming and cultural activities to make the enjoyment of art available to all. The Museum has affiliated itself with The New York Group, Inc. to increase the effectiveness of their fundraisers, generate awareness for the museum and expand their outreach to the community. The New York Group, Inc. has successfully helped the Museum in the promotion of their annual fundraising event, the Museum Ball and has since become involved in many other projects. Strategic "December to Remember" direct mail piece garners impressive sales for Rallye Lexus.
In an effort to maximize the efforts of Lexus' multi-million dollar campaign for its annual "December to Remember" Sales Event, The New York Group, Inc. sent a 4-color postcard to those on a conquest list of over 45,000 affluent consumers. The list proved to be right on target, selling dozens of additional Lexus vehicles on top of the heavy showroom traffic. "In my 13 years of selling Lexus vehicles, I have never seen a better response to a single marketing piece," said Neil Fogel, one of Lexus' top producing sales associates. Results were tracked using a unique toll-free number and sales associate data.
The New York Group, Inc. assists in the regional launch of Acura's all-new flagship - the 2005 RL
Updating it's flagship luxury automobile, Acura debuted its all-new redesigned RL in early November. The New York Group, Inc. orchestrated a family-oriented evening of food, fun, and prizes under a "casino night" theme. Music was supplied by XM Satellite Radio (a feature of the new RL). Since then, strong demand for the RL has made it an overnight success for the Acura brand.
The New York Group, Inc. assembles Long Island’s first “Luxury Auto Show.”
With its Acura, BMW, Lexus, and Mercedes-Benz franchises, Rallye Group was in a unique position to host an auto show of its very own. When approached by the Source Mall in Westbury, The New York Group, Inc. worked with Rallye executive management to assemble an 18-day event featuring the latest in luxury automobiles. “This is the first time a local dealer has ever attempted something like this,” said Rocco J. DelGreco, President of The New York Group, Inc. “From the very beginning there were three objectives that made the decision to invest in such an event a sure shot. First was awareness for the Rallye brand. Second was to dispel the myth that luxury had to be expensive. Rallye offers a wide array of models that are very competitively priced. And third was to sell cars on site.” The event was deemed a success, with a potential return in the Spring of 2005.
Internal Marketing Efforts Reward Rallye Employees
The New York Group, Inc. worked closely with the Human Resources Department at Rallye Group to produce an employee newsletter for its 460 employees. “Rallye is the ninth largest privately owned corporation on Long Island,” said Rocco J. DelGreco, President of The New York Group, Inc. “Their employees need to be kept ‘in the loop’ of happenings throughout the company. And, it’s important to promote pride in the workplace. The Rallye newsletter, appropriately named ‘Inside Rallye,’ is the perfect response for a company to convey its supports for employees.” Printed quarterly, the newsletter focused on a range of milestones for both company and individual staff. An online version, containing additional content, plus an employee procedure and regulation handbook, is planned for early 2005.
The New York Group, Inc. helps Rallye Acura set sales record.
In developing a 3-day promotion designed to move existing inventory of 2004 model year Acuras, The New York Group orchestrated a comprehensive media mix of print, radio, direct mail, and email to help Rallye Acura hit its top-selling weekend on record. “We had the best Saturday ever in our history,” said Jay Rosenthal, General Sales Manager for Rallye Acura. Rallye Acura is one of four dealerships which comprise the Rallye Group. With an aggressive campaign that targets real benefits of doing business with Rallye, The New York Group, Inc. is helping the dealership maintain its standing as the largest volume Acura dealer on Long Island.
